Charging Station Allocation for Electric Vehicle Network Using Stochastic Modeling and Grey Wolf Optimization

Optimal placement of Charging stations (CSs) and infrastructure planning are one the most critical challenges that face Electric Vehicles (EV) industry nowadays. A variety approaches have been proposed to address problem demand uncertainty versus optimal number CSs required build EV infrastructure. In this paper, a Markov-chain network model is designed study estimated on CS by using birth death process model. An investigation desired electric sockets in each average vehicles both queue waiting times presented. Furthermore, allocation algorithm based proposed. Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) used select best locations with objective maximizing net profit under budget routing constraints. Additionally, was applied Washington D.C. transportation network. Experimental results shown achieve highest profit, Level 2 chargers need be installed low areas implementation. On other hand, 3 attain higher when EVs increases or/and high charging demands.
